I just wanted to check in about availability for the Teens to Trail Adventure Race scheduled for May 15th – are there team slots still available? I was talking wih my son about this but wanted to make sure the there were slots. He and his friend who are in a high school are interersted.

Are GPS deviced included? There is a reference to this in the video but there is also mention that no GPS units are allowed.

There is a $20 fee per registrant as well correct. Thanks.

Yes, there is still space available. It will be a great time, so I encourage your son and his friend(s) to enter. And, yes it is $20 per registrant, which includes the race, lunch, a raffle for door prizes, and the chance to win a race prize for placing in the top three teams (and other fun categories).

The orienteering racers will be using maps and compasses to find the checkpoints, so no GPS units. If members of the team do not have a compass, we will provide one. The maps with the checkpoints will be given out at race check-in that morning.

      Looking forward to it!

For non-high school students, if they are at least thirteen years old on race day, and they are affiliated with a high school group, they can compete.
